I have to go to work today, as unbelievable as it may seem. Anyway, these are the hassles of a family business. I hear though that we will close a little earlier today and open much later tomorrow, to take care of the hangover I am certain.

Tonight I am spending the passing of the year at my good friend Hugh’s place in Central London, which is bound to be fantastically funny.

I am bringing some whiskey and he said to have several bottles of vodka. Cheers!

I was driving home from the Central London, as I have to stop at a red light. A red Royal Mail lorry driving next to me on the bus lane at enormous speeds, (I know, I was driving just as fast to find out how fast the lorry was actually going, he was doing 80kmh (50mph)) simply continues down the road, ignoring the red light.

I could not catch the “How is my driving?” number, and probably would not have cared too much anyway, but still. Why are they not driving like this before Christmas so that the packages are actually being delivered on time? After Christmas nobody cares anyway!

Slow down man, and learn the meaning of the colours of the traffic light!

I know, I have now seen it twice and both times at exorbitant prices, but it was worth it. “The Phantom of the Opera” might not have the most original of stories, but the photography, the music and the acting all work so well together, it is simply enthralling. I have rarely felt so much enjoyment and emotion at watching a movie. Of course this is not something for everybody, as the musical nature of it does take a certain liking in the first place, but once that is out of the way, prepare for an experience that you will remember for a long time. 100% wow factor!
