In my life in London’s Camden Town I have seen and experienced many truly crazy things and talked to even more people from the most exotic places on Earth.

Today I have talked to a girl that bought some small item at one of the stalls I work at. She was not pecurliarly beautiful or otherwise special, but for some reason we started talking for a while. At some point, because I could not pinpoint her origin, I asked her where she was from. She said then something that I will most likely keep in my mind for a very, very long time to come.

She said:”I’m from Europe, the Italian part.”

I have never heard anybody refer to their origin in this manner and am as of now adopting this for myself.

Although I have always claimed to be European, I am as of now from Europe, the German part.

We should all take a very close look at where we life and what we actually represent. Europe does so much for all of us. Time to start identifying with it.
