One more indication of old age is the fact that one has to scroll down to reach one’s birthyear on website forms.

It feels like one more nail in the coffin.

What a depressive thought.

the gods must be crazy

The day before yesterday it was cold as winter, yesterday it was cold but incredibly humid, today thay say it will be 28 degrees celsius. Tomorrow and sunday it is supposed to top 30 degrees celsius.

What is a poor sod like me supposed to do?

What is the point of winter and summer collections if the seasons mix and match according to what nobody wears at the time?

Wear warm clothes and you are bound to suffer from heat, and put on just a t-shirt and you will freeze to death (or close enough).

I want to go to Brazil!

I have always vehemently said that I love London.

I really do.

Today, after having been in and around London for many years, I have for the first time in my live seen a tram in London.

Everybody knows the famous buses, the taxis and of course the tube.

Add the tram to the list. It is wonderful.

Michael Jackson, aka Jacko, has been found innocent of all ten charges brought before the court.

I am sure that every news page in the world will feature this story, so I won’t bother commenting further, yet.

amazon.com is speachless

The almighty amazon.com was speachless when I logged in today to look for a title I am interested in.

We’re sorry. We were unable to find any titles to recommend after looking at your purchase history.

Has this ever happened to you? Am a a freak of such varied interests that even amazon has no idea what to sell me next? Is it because I have not forwarded those chainletters?

note: the book I was looking for is: The United States Of Europe: The New Superpower and the End of American Supremacy

note2: thanks to Nico I have just bought the book.
