Welcome home, Hugh.

Good to have you back.

By the way, you have to explain that picture of that naked man. ;-)

I have not only not attended the JADUS meeting, I have also missed that mi hermano Adrien has returned from his three month expedition to Brazil!

To be fair to me, he has not really announced anything on his English blog. Still, I should have known.

So here, delayed, a warm-hearted “welcome back” and lots of jumping and hugs.

I cannot really say that I am jumping on the bandwagon here, as feedburner is by far no longer new. After all the hick hack of blogging, and foruming and all the other odd things I do, I might as well make the feed easier for you.

Hey, no problem, it was no hassle at all.

So, let’s see how this baby works out.

pop-up spammer found

After what must have been weeks of silly-ass pop-ups for my visitors I have finally found the culprit.

It was not the weather or, what I thought most probable, the imood thingy. No, it was the counter!

After having used NedStadBasic for years and always having been incredibly satisfied with it, they introduced pop-ups after the company was sold. Read all about it here.

I am very disappointed.

As this must have caused severe pain and anguish to many of you, I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.

Anyway, I am going to quote something that was printed on the Schwartz, because I fully support the notion and couldn’t really say it any better:

They did keep to their word. They didn’t place ads “directly into” my site. They used their code, called from within my site, to generate popups outside of my site’s window. Therefore it would be wrong for me to say “WebStats4U are a bunch of slimeballs”. It would be wrong for me to say “WebStats4U are popup spammers”. It would be wrong for me to say “WebStats4U suck”. So, please, Google… don’t pay any attention to those statements. People who search on “WebStats4U” might get the impression that I actually think they are slimeball popup spammers who suck, and I must keep to my word just precisely as they did by emphasizing that I do not want anyone to come to the wrong conclusion about WebStats4U.

Therefore, if you are using Webstat4U (formerly NedStatBasic), consider yourself notified.
