gone shopping

Just this afternoon I went to our local supermarket to do some shopping.
I bought potatos and onions for dinner, pastrami and corned beef for breakfast and some cookies for my sister who is working so hard.
But I forgot the damn minced meat for tonight’s dinner, Spagetti Bolognese is nothing without the mince. So I have to go again.
I hate shopping, and just about the only thing I hate more than shopping is going shopping again because I forgot something the first time round.
Oh well, they say if you haven’t got it in your head (or on a list) you have to have it in your legs (or car, mhuahahaha).
Grumble. I am off.

totally agree…shopping is a waste of time. and so is cooking (if you don’t make some socialising out of it). btw I’m worse. If I already queued for the counter and realize having forgotten something, I cannot leave to queue to get it. I rather live with eating pasta sauce without pasta than with wasting time…damnit
