I am tiring of linux at the moment.

Why is it that even with all the great development etc, it still is not as intuitive and userfriendly as Windows?

Yeah, it is safer, and cheaper, but much harder to get started with, which is a big entry barrier.

Anyway, I tried the bootable CD (great feature) and did not like it as much as I thought I might.

I am sticking to Vista for the time being.

Regarding Hugh’s question if I will try the new version of ubuntu I will have to say no.

I have a new computer that is used mostly for business purposes, and I do not want to experiment with it while everything works exactly as I want it to work.

Should I get my old laptop to do anything more than crash, I will gladly revisit Ubuntu.
